I believe that as more and more companies realize that the hassle of registration is a turn off for many users they will adopt similar strategies were initial use of a platform is not only free but registration free as well. Registration will unlock further functionality. After all if someone is pleased with a service why wouldn't they register? This was the underling philosophy that led my friends and me when we were developing www.Speakitz.com - an online tool for pasting comments on any webpage.
