Ten Leadership Attributes for Influencing With Integrity

Each of these could be a paragraph, an article, a book, a series, or, indeed, have different sentences, but these are my thoughts right now.



Listening:        The will and the skill to listen beyond & between the lines



Enthusiasm:     Passion about the journey, the goal and the potential followers



Assertiveness   Grounded and centred and gentle forcefulness



Decisiveness    Consult, yes, and be ready to say yes or no as appropriate



Energy             Being awake and aware and willing to go the extra mile



Respect           For self as much as others



Sensitivity        Emotional Intelligence; aware of self and others



Humility           Not timidity



Intuition           An attribute that is not adequately celebrated



Potency           Embracing your personal power and using it to empower others
