w. Clean Coaching (Clean Practice Development) Day
Clean Coaching
This practice enrichment day offers an outstanding array of highly effective Clean coaching interventions, designed by coaches with a wealth of experience in corporate, team and life coaching.
With its emphasis on non-directive positive forward movement, Clean Language is outcomes-focused, respectful of every individual’s own best ways of doing and achieving, and alive to the possibilities emerging in each moment. Clean coaching approaches do not tell people what to do, nor attempt to solve problems or difficulties. By consistently directing attention to personal resources and growth strategies, Clean coaching meaningfully involves the client in creating previously unimagined choices and solutions.
This training* is for coaches seeking to make more use of metaphor, space and Emergent Knowledge in their work; wanting to strengthen their abilities in actively involving client strengths in the coaching process and keen to make the most of the Clean skills they have acquired. The focus of the day is on practical frameworks and techniques.
The programme offers:
- Bespoke and specific Clean coaching models, designed and used by experienced Clean coaches in real-world contexts
- Coaching frameworks for eliciting values, building motivation within minutes, and handling difficult conversations
- Comprehensive reference manual detailing all of the techniques learned on the course.
- Whole group seminar sessions, demonstrations, skills groups, receiving feedback, and opportunities to reflect on applications to practice
Who is this course for?
This course is for all whose role it is to motivate others and support their development, e.g. all varieties of coaches: life coaches, executive coaches, team coaches, and sports coaches, teachers, managers, doctors, nurses and physiotherapists.
*A minimum of four day’s training in Clean Language is required.

Once you start coaching in metaphor, you can sort through problems and challenges; you don’t need to fix someone’s metaphor because it allows some very, very clever information to come through. The applications of Clean are really quite profound, the impact of it is very significant.’ Phil Roberts, senior manager, broadcasting
